Ash: 'I will win Cheryl back!'

Friday 05 March 2010

Ashley Cole is reportedly hoping to follow the example of fellow footballing love rat John Terry and win his heartbroken wife back.

According to The Sun, Chelsea and England left-back Ashley is determined to save his marriage to Cheryl Cole in the 15-minute face-to-face the Girls Aloud star has granted him next week.

A friend said: "Ashley and a lot of his friends reckon Cheryl will come back.

"JT [John Terry] always knew he was going to get Toni back, he even told the lads in the dressing room.

"Ashley is clinging to the hope that he can do the same."

Serial cheat Ashley plans to secure his wife’s affections once again by offering to renew their wedding vows.

As Ashley plots how to fight for Cheryl’s love, his marriage troubles are apparently taking their toll on his health.

Chelsea bosses have sent a psychologist over to France, where Ash is being treated for an ankle injury, amid concerns for his mental wellbeing.

Ashley has apparently been miserable and low since his marriage hit rock bottom a couple of weeks ago, and the usually well-groomed footballer had also stopped shaving.

But Ash removed the beard he had grown and cut his hair to make a good impression on the psychologist.

A source said: "The day the psychologist arrived at the clinic, Ashley was in a completely different frame of mind.

"He had smartened himself up and was trying to be serious and sensible. It wasn't the Ashley we've been used to - he was clearly worried about something."

A spokesperson for Chelsea also commented on the psychologist’s arrival: “It is a very normal procedure. We have a duty of care to all our players and we regularly send members of our medical team to help them get fit, especially those undergoing long-term treatment."

Do you have any sympathy for Ashley?

RE: Ash: 'I will win Cheryl back!'

Why should ANYONE have ANY sympathy for Ashley Cole, this is not the first time he has cheated on Cheryl! Cheating is wrong, whether you’re married or just dating!
I think Cheryl has done the best thing, chucking him out! He probably does need to see a physiologist, because now he can realise what a fool he is to have let a woman like Cheryl go!
Why is it, when people get money and fame they go stupid all of a sudden! They should be happy with everything they have, not constantly be looking around for more! Ashley Cole is an ungrateful man! Millions of men and women want to be in his shoes!!

RE: Ash: 'I will win Cheryl back!'

kes Yeah, I understand exactly where you're coming from there. It's not as easy as saying get out I never want to see you again, because by the time you do see them again you've calmed down and you realise you miss him and you realise just what you went through together before the affair! There is bound to be a very tight bond there, as you say a lot of the women here have never been married or experienced that kind of oneness - it's every woman's own choice as to whether they can take back a hubby or partner who's cheated, it's surprising how many are prepared to because they still love him! Most men realise they've screwed up bigtime by going for it! If they can make a go of it then good luck to them - only difference with Cheryl is hubby is always going to be a target as are celeb men and women for someone who wants 5 mins of fame as the other woman!! If only the other woman was treated like a homewrecker and not given a chat show, reality program, celeb status, or a newspaper column, perhaps they wouldn't be so keen to open their mouths (and everything else of course!) lol!!
By the way I hope it works out well for you kes!

RE: Ash: 'I will win Cheryl back!'

I'm really suprised at the amount of women who r so quick to admit they wud take back a cheatin bloke/husband back... each to their own BUT i can guarentee i would never be able to trust him again so why would u want to live with such uncertainty and hurt- i wudnt have it in me to forgive.... perhaps I am cinical but a life long relationship needs loyalty/respect/trust... love is just not enough!!

Fingers Crossed Cheryl doesnt take the lieing pig back!!

RE: Ash: 'I will win Cheryl back!'

ok, have all women gone mad? Sorry to be a bit harsh here.... It appears we have "smug married" people, seperated or not on here! It's the same pain if you have been with someone for a very long time, married or not..... same rules apply ! At the end of the day, it's the trust issue you end up struggling with, betrayal, of COURSE you love your man/husband - no doubt there whatsoever, and yes, we are not all stupid enough to realise that it's not easy, and it's very much more involved, when thinking of leaving your partner, even more so if children are involved..... but come on, cheated once, twice... how many times can you let them get away with it? You just totally have no respect or dignity for yourself, regardless of how difficult it is to make the decision. Like another reader said, now Cheryl will have less sympathy if she takes him back, and then he will cheat on her again. But yes, its her choice... or as a reader said her "funeral". These people are not "normal" - they have their ego's massaged 24/7, surrounded by people pandering to their every tiny little whim or crisis..... and pots of money, which they think gives them a licence to behave in whatever way they feel.... normally a degrading, and idiotic way.... let them get on with it ! they are the losers.... noone respsect's them. Hope Cheryl sorts herself out.... I wish her luck! she'll need it!
