Peter Andre has revealed that he considered killing himself after enduring a series of panic attacks in the past.
The singer's most recent attack came three months after he split with glamour model and mother of his children Katie Price.
He told a magazine: "Did I think about ending my life? You can have thoughts like that and I'm not going to lie, there were times when it was so bad, that I thought, 'Am I better off?' "
But family man Pete found the will to live because he loved his kids too much to leave them to face the world without him.
He said: "They need me and I will always be there for them."
Pete also spoke of a stint in hospital after a breakdown ten years ago that made him feel worse: "They didn't know what was wrong with me, but they soon realised that all I had was a breakdown.
“There was nothing wrong with me but I started to think this was because of the people around me."
Meanwhile, regarding his secret love Maddy Ford's claim that he was "preoccupied" with Jordan during their fling, Pete wrote in New: "Without wanting to sound harsh, this is absolutely not the case.
"Far from it. I'll always care about her as the mother of my kids, but that's as far as it goes."

Thank goodness for Pete's kiddies keeping him strong after his breakup from the Price eh?!

Fair play to you Pete for talking out - It gives hope to people with mental illness or depression that things do get better and that it is NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF x

yes it does take a lot for pete to admit this.....and i do actually feel really sorry for him. but just hope its not a sympathy vote as he doesnt really need it....he has the vote regardless!!!!
i just hope certain people i.e. KATIE PRICE doesnt get her kicks as she will be happy to see Pete show and admit a bit of weakness!!!! xx

i think pete has a really nice voice sarah1212 and wouldbe so sad if he had felt he couldn't live anymore and killed himself.

i do like pete but cant help thinking this is yet another greatly timed piece of publicity just when jordan apparently claims to dish the dirt on him is he looking for the sympathy vote again if this story came from jordans camp she wouldve been slammed for the all of the above

lovingmum Sorry to disappoint you but Pete spoke out about these panic attacks at the time as did his brother, it was even on closer's own site I believe or New! mags site where he has a column!! The only one trying to milk anything here is Jordan and Alex, as for Alex 's claims that Pete's getting laid when he said he wasn't up for a relationship was hypocritical - who the hell is he to talk?! He was in Jordan's bed before the sheets were changed, moved in and now he's whining Jordan set up the marriage without his knowledge?!! Sorry but any sympathy or good feeling Alex buit up on CBB is fast eroding as he opens his mouth wider, this is the guy who allegedly had sex with a Thai girl/boy and in his comments on the Gay mag shoot he's saying he's not interested in men?! Pete at least waited until he was divorced before getting laid, he was single and has made it plain Maddy knew there was never any intention of a relationship as he told her it was too soon for a relationship for him!!
sarah1212 It's good to hear Pete's tour is great - that's what's most important right now!!
