SHOCKER: Mark Owen's 10 affairs!!

First the footballing world with Ashley Cole and John Terry's scandals, then the TV industry with Vernon's sex texts... now the club of errant husbands has extended to those in the music business as married Take That star Mark Owen admits to having cheated on his wife in the past with a whopping ten women!

With his baby face and squeaky clean image, we are gobsmacked at the news of Mark's affairs.

But at least the pop star had the decency to come clean to wife and mother of his two children Emma.

He told The Sun he hated himself, continuing: "I have been an idiot, a d***head, a k***head. All of the above and more.

"It's about me, my mistakes. Nobody else is to blame."

He added that he is "proud" that he hasn't cheated on Emma since they got hitched.

Mark also revealed he has been battling booze for the past few years.

The women he cheated on Emma with were a number of one-night-stands whilst he was touring with Take That and a certain Neva Hanley - Mark continued his affair with accounts manager Neva for around five years.

One of his liaisons with Neva involved her visiting him in his Lake District home where they smoked weed, drank booze and had sex.

He also slept with her a week after his daughter was born, regarding which Neva said: "We had sex five times that night. That's when I started to feel really guilty. The lie has gone on far too long. I can't do this to Mark's family anymore."

Mark has been living with the guilt: "You carry it around with you. It held me back in my relationship with Emma. I wouldn't have done any of this if I had my time again.

"Emma is really strong and I know she will do what is right for her and the kids. I support that and I really appreciate that. She loved me - she still does love me - and I have let her down. That's the truth of it."

It's not fame....It's the male species. Everybody cheats, it human nature, we are not built to be monogamous, unfortunately we dont mate for life. Its one of those horrible facts of life, like dying.....The effects are devastating but its a reality.

I am always shocked that people are still surprised when they hear about people being unfaithful.

What a cop out 'usual1'. There are actually some people out there that are able to control themselves and have a bit of decency and respect and LOVE for eachother to NOT cheat . your not being frank, you are being an idiot!

well said alib01!!!!!.....i think its cos of men like those celebrities it does bring down those men out there that are actually decent, and DO love their women and CAN commit.

i do think too tho...that its also what their women do in reaction to them doing this is a factor....if they show that basically they can get away with it then off course they gonna keep doing it. me and my man have a GREAT understanding of, dont do what you wouldnt like done back in return....my man would HATE me doing it to him and would never take me back, just as I would be the same other way about. If you cannot commit then dont be in that relationshiop for the long run!!! It wont do anyone any good.

Not ALL men are dirty sleezey scum bags that cannot commit their dicks to one woman tho (maybe 8/10 are haha)....so I do agree with you!!!x

I never suggested people who cheat dont love their partners !!!

You said "There are actually some people out there that are able to control themselves" surely this suggests they are able to resisit temptation. Is being tempted to do something any worse than actually doing it ? Surely thinking about cheating, thinking about someone else, spending time with someone else but not actually doing the deed is just as bad ?

Just because you dont like the way something sounds doesn't mean that it doesn't happen.

....and i DO tend to agree that it IS more likely of these celebrities to cheat. They think their "status" ALLOWS them to have their cake and eat it....like its expected and part of their jobs to be able to behave in this way!!!

Just proves.....money and fame DONT bring you happiness.....only a big heed wi the brains fallen into their pants!!!!!!!!!x

OMG what is it this year, the celeb confessions of how many affairs I had and with who and how often?!!!
Why take it out on usual 1 though ladies she is right men are not monogamous creatures, not even Joe Bloggs in the street! Men have been scientifically proven to think about sex every 60 seconds, not only that they don't attach the same emotions to sex as women do!! Just because you don't know that someone is cheating doesn't mean they aren't that's where trust comes in, men can look at a woman and get turned on by her but that doesn't mean they're cheating on you it just means they're still alive and capable of getting turned on lol!!
Celebs, singers, sportsmen get it handed to them on a platter by thousands of women not because they're good looking or intelligent but mainly because they're famous!! Some of these people women have claimed to have had affairs with you just look at and want to barf lol!! Some of the most beautiful women stars have had young women coming onto their hubby right in front of them - it seems to be a shocking trend!
I disagree ususal 1 that everybody cheats, men can love their wives and kids and still get turned on by another woman, the difference is they don't all act on it!! Looking at another woman doesn't make him a cheat, does your looking at another male or a male model and licking your lips make you a cheat? If you spend time with a male other than your partner in a normal situation and you get turned on does that make you a cheat? Looking doesn't make you a cheat, thinking doesn't make you a cheat or you'd have to apply censorship to your braincells - what makes you a cheat is when you actually follow through on your fantasy and start an affair hm?!

Of course we can all be tempted, we may all well think about other people, but we don't act on it- that's a very big difference. It's not just about doing ' the deed', - it's the betrayal, the disloyalty and the dishonesty that makes it so bad. When you are in a loving relationship, your shouldn't be tempted by another!
And it's condesending to suggest that we beleive that it doesn't happen- but that doesn't mean it's not wrong when it does.!!

I agree there is a difference but surely cheating cant be defined as simply as having sex. An emotional affair can be equally as damaging. Some people could get over it if their partner simply had a one night with a stranger but may find it harder to deal with it if they had not had sex but were spending time with someone, thinking about some else & forming an emotional attachment. Partnerships & cheating aren't simply about the physical things.

I know this is gonna anger you all but heyhoo:

I love Indian food but sometimes I fancy Chinese, doesn't mean I dont still love indian.
