RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
This is disgusting! although i think little girls who want to be like mummy and innocently putting on mum's makeup is sweet but making a makeup range for babies to look like baby prostitutes is another ball park!! Jordan obviously isnt fit to be a mother! how could she put her little girl through that! putting fake eye lashes on her like shes a doll, its revolting how she thinks she could do that! Parenting classes needed i think. Shes making princess look like her and if she carries on like this her child will have a failed career like her mum!

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
This is just discusting. i agree witht the above, that using mummys make up every now and again is perfectly innocent, however launching a make up range for children is just wrong. does she realise that she is going to attract pedophiles this way?
Any real mother would know that their child is beautiful enough and would keep them away from make-up, false eyelashes and nails etc until they are older, look at the effect it will have on her skin when she is older.
Jordan is not fit to be a mother and i dont think she ever will be, not untill she becomes so less self absorbed. all she cares about is her image and her poor children are going to grow up and turn out like her...and absalute mess! i totally disagree with this!!

The woman needs medical help. She is a representation for sex and she is trying to push her own insecurities on her daughter. God help that child.

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
This is so very wrong.i dont agree with children playing with make up full stop.i only just let my 9 year old play with it.ive seen what make up does to young skin and its not pretty, would you want your child to walk round with a nasty itchy rash because they have been wearing make up.if your child is going through your things then maybe you should be watching them more closely or move them out of reach.kid are not young forever so why make them grow up faster, next they will be a range of high heels and skimpy out fits for kids to buy so they can dress up like mummy.i dont want my kids dressing up like me because there kids not adults.

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
has anyone seen the kids shoes advert with make up that comes with the shoes? young girls are using it in the advert.. American women use make up on their kids in beauty pageants every day, i don't think she is doing anything other than tapping into a market already available she not the one doing wrong and i agree if its just a toy why now like she said what is more harmful toxic ordinary make up or child friendly formulated ???

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
naomi.atherton Yep, the US beauty pageant kids are there for all the world to see and it's started in the U.K - but in case you haven't seen any of the documentaries it's not always the kids wanting to do it it's mummy pushing them to do it!! Jon Benet Ramsay (the little beauty pageant girl in the US who was murdered) and her death brought a whole new light to bear on the paedo's who get off on seeing little girls all dressed up and in make-up singing, dancing or parading on stage. It was an eye opener that brought criticsm from millions over the existence of this type of pageant. Problem is when mummy's normally interviewed on these things she doesn't see anything wrong with it, the girls normally have to be doing ballet, gymnastics or some form of dance and stage school to be good enough to get through - when I saw one little girl she looked orange where mummy had got her a tan, looked more liked she'd been tangoed!! Problem is beautiful innoccent faces look out at you with all this adult crap on and I'm sorry but anyone who thinks paedo's don't watch this stuff, hang around, and even download pictures of kids from Facebook etc like this and jerk off to it need a serious dose of reality in this day and age!!
My own 2 year old niece tried to chow down on apple flavour lip balm the other day and she broke her heart when we had to grab it away from her, but then she had no idea of the damage it could do to her!!
Personally, but hey this is just me, it seems kids are pushed further and further to grow up more quickly than their age these days and that's truly sad because I remember all the fun we had as kids just playing, climbing trees, climbing hills and basically running around enjoying ourselves (no I'm not that old honest!), alot of which has been curbed by a fear of paedo's in parks etc but at 2 years old why can't a kid be just a kid and not mummy's barbie doll to primp and preen older than her years hm?!

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
Are you really all against this as you disagree or is it beacause she's a glamour model? I myself, think it is fine for children to use make up for dress up, but not for every day use. You cannot do something yourself and then expect a child not to copy. Make up for children would be a safe and constructive way of teaching them what it is for (play time) and what it is not for ( every day use). Stopping them will only make them want it more and who knows what they'll do when they are older and you can't control their every move. I found Carol McGiffin's comment in her column a few weeks ago about how mother's who give birth who say it hurts are making a fuss about nothing much more offensive. Especially as she's too old to ever try now, so who the hell does she think she is to comment on something she's never done or experienced!!!!!!

Personlly if you watched the show you would realise she's not all of the above,,but admitdly i personly think its a good idea. As a teenager myself i have always messed around with my mothers makeup but, when other brands bring out little makeup cases with sparkly nail varnish and blusher etc noone makes a fuss but because its Katie Price there is going to be a BIG fuss isnt there ?
I think its brilliant they can eat it because, there wont be many causlties!!

She'll be selling her kids to the highest bidder next. What is wrong with that woman - she really doesn't understand 'in the best interest of the child' It's all about 'in the best interest of Jordan' - Vile woman

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
im sorry but i still have to disagree, this has nothing to do with katie price,as emeral will know im a katie price fan, lol, but to let a child play with make up and encourage them to eat it is very wrong,if i happen to find my child not only play with my make up but eat it ide MOVE IT OUT OF CHILD REACH,if what is in make up is so toxic then why would a reaspossible mother let there child play with it?i still dont get why we need to encourage a child to grow up so fast, when they get to teenage years then thats fair enough but were not talking about teenagers were talking about children,a child to me is from the age of 0 to 12 or am i wrong because i thought teenager years started at thirteen.?
this has nothing to do with katie price (not on my part) this is letting a child grow up too fast.if your child sees an adult wear make up and challenges you about it then be the bloody parent and simpley explaine that make up is for adults and they can use it when they are older if they wish!

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
i agree totally with the above but we have to be real children love playing with make-up and its good if they can play with products that maybe are not so harsh and make-up that is specifically for them , its a bit much but if there is a market katie price will jump on it because she is clever and knows how to make money

Katie is doing nothing wrong, we already have kids makeup by disney etc.. I think Pete should get a grip, he chose to walk away from his family in a very cowardly way, so what if Princess plays with makeup.

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
Lelli Kelly shoes give free kids make-up compacts with every purchase and blatantly advertise this on kids tv. If make-up for kids is so shocking why have'nt there been complaints about that brand?
Personally as a kid I would use my mums make up for dressing up and as a mum now myself my daughter watches me putting on make-up every day and finds it fascinating. Girls will be girls and I applaud Katie Price for launching this especially ensuring it is totally non-toxic and safe. I will definately be buying some for presents for my daughter and neices.
I must say, however, that I am not an obsessed Katie Price fan but I think there are some very jealous people out there who are prone to belittle everything this woman does. Like her or loathe her, she is a very savvy business woman that had made huge amounts of money and as an aspiration to girls growing up she is hardly the worst celeb out there.

RE: Jordan to launch kiddies makeup range
People who don't agree with this cannot say that Jordan is the only parent that puts make-up on her child or lets her child wear make-up, because i am sure that there are other parents out there that do the same. i do not know why people are so against it. i think it is a clever idea because it is child friendly and so children will not get hurt and that is a good thing isn't it?
