Psychologist 'worried' about Jordan
Tuesday 31 August 2010
Katie Price has been lying uncharacteristically low since she disappeared off on holiday, but a surprising last minute cancellation of an apearance at the Edinburgh International Television Festival has caused experts to fear for her mental health.
Jordan, who was set to be interviewed by celebrity psychologist Dr Pamela Stevenson about the effects of fame, pulled out after an alleged 'meltdown'.
According to sources, the 32-year-old cancelled her appearance after reaching 'boiling point' and demanding a 24-hour 'time out'.
An insider told The Sun: 'Kate is tired and emotional and just desperate for some time alone. It's not like her to cancel work, but it was something she decided at the last minute. It's taken everyone by surprise.
'She has her own secrets. There are few reasons why she would let people down and disappoint fans, and they will either be to do with Alex or the family they're trying to start.'
Renowned psychologist Dr Stevenson commented: 'I'm just really worried about her, I hope she's alright. I'm sure she's very professional and wouldn't pull out unless there was something very wrong.
'I was very much looking forward to talking to her so I'm disappointed she's not here. Touch wood, she's alright. I think something might be very wrong.'
Jordan's spokespeople cited 'unforeseen circumstances' and reportedly refused to 'rule out' illness as a reason.

another day.....another KP story :o) :o)
my goodness........she basically has "pulled a sickie" like us normal folk do, just to take "24 hour time out" or whatever and she is branded mentally ill?????
she was probably scared of what a psychologist was gonna find hidden in that brain of hers.....e.g. possibly still in love with her ex-husband, probably not in love with her current one etc etc?????

Again, KP mlking the press. Of COURSE she is not happy, she married on the re-bound.......and another child won't cure that. Leave her alone for a while to have her 'time out' - she will come back demanding attention as usual. Pamela Stephenson - come on, there IS something very wrong, its her whole drama of a life, and I don't need a psychologists degree to work that one out!

RE: Psychologist 'worried' about Jordan
No disrespect Dr Pamela Stephenson, but any muppet could tell there is something psychologically wrong with Jordan - there always has been, you can't blame it on AR or Pete or AR's inability to get her pregnant!!! The problem is I don't think we as the viewing public should have to play therapist to a her narciccistic (spelt that wrong I know lol) nature!! We've already had her blubbing all over Piers (barf) Morgan, we already know far too much about her sex life, her childhood, her abuse etc etc etc!! IF Jordan really wanted help she wouldn't be once more attempting to bare her soul for all of us to cringe over on tv - she has enough money to PAY a therapist!! I'm just not sure there's a therapist out there who wouldn't feel like jumping after listening to her!! They get paid, WE don't!!
