Now the 38-year-old has taken a rather large step in the opposite direction, by putting the wedding ring he married Katie with in their 2010 Vegas wedding ceremony, up for grabs in a magazine competition.
Alex, who has a daughter with estranged fiancé and reality star Chantelle Houghton, was reportedly holding on to the £2,225 ring in the hopes of a possible reunion.
However, following 35-year-old Katie’s- also known as Jordan- rather unceremonious revelations that their wedding was just a rebound marriage and she was planning to ‘reveal all’ in her upcoming biography, Alex appeared to have a change of heart.
Speaking about his decision to sell the ring, the openly cross-dressing CBB star said:
‘Katie and I picked the ring in Vegas before we got married there. It’s beautiful and classy.
‘Selling it is emotional because I really loved her'
