These shocking pictures show Chyou Wang trapped fast after falling through the window grill that was designed to prevent burglaries.
The child’s parents had left her home-alone as they had to go to work. Neighbours had heard cries and found the girl after investigating the disturbance.
Firefighters broke into the flat and freed the girl whilst her parents were promptly contacted. It took two fire men to free the trapped toddler, with one holding her as the other forced the bars open.
As you can tell by the pictures, young Chyou was very scared as she hung from the grill.
It is thought that Chyou was looking for her parents when she wandered outside. She would have fallen four floors but had her fall saved when she was trapped by her head.
The girl's parents said that they had locked the doors before setting off for work. Chyou’s father Lian said: 'We never imagined something like this could have happened.'
Her parents have promised to never leave her alone in the future: 'we are so grateful that it worked out well in the end.'
