After famously failing most of the trials she took part in last year, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! Now! presenter Joe Swash took her back to the trials area to have another go.

Helen, who came seventh in the last series, has defended current contestant Amy Willerton after camp-mates have been critical of her for not pulling her weight around camp.

She told the ITV2 spin-off show that beauty queen Amy needs to be mothered, saying: 'I needed to be mothered in there.

'I couldn't go to the shower or the dunny by myself because I was scared.

'That's why people should mother Amy.'

'I became borderline anorexic when I was 15'

Posing in a pink and black bikini for her jungle return, the 23 year-old seemed happy to show off her figure, but a recent interview with the star has revealed she hasn’t always been so body-confident.

Talking to a UK magazine, Helen has confessed she was once ‘borderline anorexic.’

In the magazine interview published today, Helen says: ‘I went to a girls’ school and I wanted to be skinny,’ adding: ‘But I got carried away and became borderline anorexic when I was 15, which I know lots of girls go through.

‘I think it’s just one of those things when you think it’s attractive to be really skinny. It takes a while for some girls to realise it’s not. I’m happy now but I had counselling for it – it’s difficult growing into your body.

‘I had an obsession with Keira Knightley. I used to try to pout like her and I wanted to be as thin as her, but I realise now that she’s just naturally slim. I’m a lot curvier. We have different body types. It’s just the way it is.’

The actress also revealed she wants to start a family with her boyfriend, footballer Scott Sinclair, next year.
