Anne Hathaway has revealed she can't wait to become a mum, admitting she is "looking forward" to having her first baby with husband Adam Shulman.

When questioned whether or not she was ready to become a mum on the red carpet, the Les Mis star replied: "Yeah! I hope so! I am looking forward to it."

Anne, previously spoke about her desire to have kids, admitting in an interview that she has felt ready since she was 16.

“I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was 16. But I also wanted to have a career, so I have been chomping at the bit to be a mother for a really long time.

“I also had to find a baby daddy first - which I now have.”

Amanda Seyfried, who starred as Anne's on-screen daughter in Les Mis, also revealed she thinks the actress would be the "perfect mother".

"She’s a very maternal, graceful woman that it’s hard not to have these kind of warm feelings for her.

"She’s very maternal. She’s got to have kids at some point. She’d be the perfect mother."
