While we have always been fans of 35-year-old Christine Bleakley's presenting style, it seems as if some fans of This Morning weren't too happy to see her sitting in Phillip Scofield's place next to Holly Willoughby on the sofa today.

Before the show Schofe tweeted the ladies, saying: "Whilst I am in the #MrAndMrs studio, the ladies are driving ITV This Morning have a great show @hollywills @clbleakley .. Don't be TOO good!!"

And it seems as if a few of Phil's fans may have taken his comment to heart.

Twitter user Carmen Richards said: "My day off and Christine Bleakley is on ITV's This Morning are you joking? Obvs I did something terrible in a former life #ThisMorning #Vile"

Another tweeted: "Christine Bleakley is just sitting there like a vase."

And one added: "Why do these shows keep wheeling out Christine Bleakley?"

Another fan, with some trepidation, suggested Christine might be a replacement for Holly when she leaves the show for her maternity leave - she announced her third pregnancy last week on her personal website.

They said: "Oh! Not Christine Bleakley standing in for Phil, I can see where this is going when Holly's on maternity leave."

However, while some clearly weren't happy to see Christine on the show, plenty seemed to enjoy the Girl Power combo of Christine and Holly together.

One said: "Loving @hollywills and @clbleakley presenting together :-) #GirlPower"

And another added: "Dreams do come true @hollywills and @clbleakley on catch together!"
