3-year-old Emily James felt so bad for other children who lost their hair through cancer treatment that she decided to donate her long hair to be used as a wig.

Emily says: ‘Sometimes kids get sick and then their hair falls out… Its really really sad.’

We are then show her Uncle Matthew’s hair salon where Emily and her doll get their hair cut.

‘I don’t want any kids to be sad that they have no hair… I’m going to give the my hair,’ says the inspiring little girl.

Emily says she always puts on her best behaviour when she visits the salon.

‘I try to stay nice and still when Matthew cuts my hair.’

We are then shown Emily’s stylish new bob, and the generous little girl says, brightly: ‘I can’t wait to look just like my dolly… Me and my dolly look so pretty.’

We are then show Emily posting their hair into an envelope, decorated with colourful hearts.
