Aaron Knowles, 14, along with brothers Marcus, 13, and Jamie, 9, were part of a gang which terrorised a neighbourhood and left people feeling "physically ill".

And now a court has ordered that Aaron be named and shamed and prevented from spending time with his brothers in public - unless they are with their mother or father.

He has also been banned from the Broadgate area and from being in the company of seven other boys, all aged between 9 and 19.

According to The Mirror, the boys 'threw stones at people, jostled them in the street, smashed windows and tagged the neighbourhood with graffiti'.

Police Constable Carl Ingram said: “Aaron Knowles has been making life a misery for a large proportion of the Broadgate neighbourhood.

“Residents were practically queuing up to make complaints as I patrolled the area. People were saying that the noise and abuse was making them ill to the point where they were wanting to move away."

“We are committed to making sure Preston is not blighted by this type of behaviour and we will continue to use tactics such as Asbos to improve the quality of life for local residents.”

Do you think the boy should be banned from spending time with his brothers? Is it a fitting punishment or do you think he needs his family around him?
