Twitter user @QueenDemetriax_, aged 14, has been arrested after she decided to liven up her Sunday with a few "joke" bomb threats on Twitter.

She tweeted at American Airlines: “Hello my name’s Ibrahim and I’m from Afghanistan. I’m part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I’m gonna do something really big bye.”

“Sarah, we take these threats very seriously,” American Airlines responded. (The tweet has since been deleted.) “Your IP Address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI.”

The teen then had a Twitter meltdown, pleading with the company to reconsider (all whilst throwing a presumably imaginary friend under the bus at the same time): "I was joking and it was my friend, take her IP address not mine"

She added, somewhat dramatically: "pls save my life"

Sarah later added that she'd blocked the FBI "just in case," and seemed happy she'd gained over 3,000 followers following her stunt.

However it seems as if (ahem) 'blocking the FBI' didn't work, as Dutch police have since confirmed that the teenager was arrested at her home in Rotterdam today.

An official spokesperson for the Dutch police told Business Insider they can't communicate charges at this point, but that they “thought it was necessary to bring this out mostly because of the fact that it caused a great deal of interest on the Internet.”

No charges have been filed yet - but we hope this will teach a lesson to Twitter trolls everywhere.
