In a scene reminiscent of the Wizard Of Oz, a bouncy castle was blown from a back garden into a nearby schools playing field.
A gust of wind lifted the bouncy castle over 50 feet into the air, causing it to clear the party host’s back garden completely.
3 children were in the blow up castle at the time, two boys aged 5 and 6 and a 10-year-old girl.
The children fell 15 feet from the bouncy castle into the car park of the nearby school in a suburb of New York
One of the boys suffered a head injury whilst the other broke both of his arms and reportedly sustained ‘serious facial wounds.’
The girl luckily escaped with a few scrapes, but we can imagine all 3 of the children were left a little shaken after their ordeal.
One eyewitness told local news: ‘It was like a horror movie. It just kept going up and up. It cleared our building and the trees.’
The bouncy castle, which was 10 feet wide and 10 feet long, and according to owners of the popular birthday party feature hundreds of children had bounced before without injury.
