What was the best thing about playing Malificent’s confidante?
It’s a lot of fun- playing the baddies is always fun. I could completely relate, who hasn’t got an evil side!
You live in Berlin with your German actress wife, do you think your son will be bilingual?
Yes definitely.
How do you juggle family life and the glamorous side of things?
They are rare, the glamorous moments! Which is nice – you wouldn’t want to do it all the time.
Would you want your son to follow in your footsteps?
We are both very fortunate, my wife and I, that we get work – touch wood! There are a lot of great actors not getting work, but it’s a wonderful profession if you like it.
How was it, working with Angelina and her children on the set?
They’re a really charming family! They were a bit scared of me, actually, the kids! When I got within 10 yards, two of them ran off! I didn’t push it!
But they are all completely unaffected by the fame- I was out with them last night actually!
If you were playing another Disney character, who would you be?
Wild Mowgli!

How was it working with Angelina?
She’s amazing! The first thing she said was how much fun we would have together on set!
How much thought do you put into dressing for a red carpet – particularly for a movie like this, where costume is so important?
Yes! Fashion – I love it. So, especially with each movie you do, obviously your character has a specific style as well, so when I go to a premiere, I try to bring my character out at the premiere as well.

You’re a former Made In Chelsea star, what do you make of Binky’s boyfriend Alex’s recent cheating?
I think they should play it by ear. I don’t know. I know that they had drama before and I feel like you have to see how it goes. You don’t want to force a relationship.
What would you do if your man cheated?
Oh my God, you cheat and I would never go back. It depends on what scenario you’re in. Again, I say I wouldn’t go back, but it depends. It really depends what the circumstances are.
What about Katie Price and Kieran Hayler’s cheating claims?
You know, that’s just sad. You don’t wish that for anyone, especially not for her. You know, I do know her. And just to read about it’s just… you just feel sorry for her. But whether it’s true or not, I don’t know – I don’t know the ins and outs. I hope, for her, that they can figure it out.
Do you think you’ll ever go back on MIC?
No – I don’t think so. But maybe something else in TV. I just have to figure it out- preferably something fashion based.
If you could be any Disney princess, who would you be?
Cinderella!
