Katie Hopkins has been busily slamming the mothers of children with ADHD on Twitter, but now she has turned to her column in The Sun to really let rip on the matter.

She writes: "There is always one kid in a class that all mums dread.

"The punching, biting, kicking machine, shoved through the classroom door in the morning to unleash merry hell on every other child."

She goes on to write: "Any mother with a child like this wants something to blame — anything to blame — as long as it isn’t them.

"Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder fits the bill.

"A quick appointment with a GP and suddenly her son is not a problem child."

Katie goes on to claim that diagnosing ADHD is all about a simple tick list, which she lists as the following:

She adds: "Given this list, most of my children would have ADHD — and so would I. And this is at the heart of the problem."

Katie was originally inspired into "badmouthing" ADHD children by Dr Bruce Perry, a neuroscientist at the ChildTrauma Academy in Houston, Texas, who said that ADHD is not a real disease.

He said: "It is best thought of as a description . . . any one of us at any given time would fit at least a couple of those criteria."

He said ADHD was a label for a set of symptoms, adding: "It’s a description rather than a real disease."

Do you agree with Katie Hopkins? Are you upset that she has, once again, attacked parents with children who have been diagnosed with ADHD?
