The photo was posted online by a Twitter user, with the caption: ‘Only in Lewisham.’
The shocking snap was taken on Lee High Road outside Jennings bookmakers.
The photo shows a child visibly sitting in the buggy, which is parked against the window of the betting shop.
There is no adult obviously with the child, who’s arm can be seen poking out from the buggy.
The child was left outside to adhere to laws which state that nobody under the age of 18 be allowed to enter the premises of a bookmakers.
Even more shockingly, the child was left outside on a particularly rainy day with nothing more than the hood of the pram to shelter them from the sporadic downpours.
One Twitter user wrote in response to the photo: ‘Left her baby outside like it was the family pet!’ whilst another social media user wrote: ‘No way... Some shit parent.’
Another wrote: ‘Saw a buggy parked up outside here before with a screaming new born in ... Absolutely discusting if u ask me (sic).’
