Gary Barlow has come under fire after his questionable tax affairs were brought to light, with many calling for him to return his OBE after it was revealed a partnership he was involved with was a "tax avoidance scheme".

However now, in a horrifying turn of events, one vile Twitter troll has decided to hack into Gary Barlow's account and post a tasteless reference about the Take That frontman's stillborn baby daughter.

The post read: "Your dead baby’s going to rot in hell yu f*****."

The tweet was quickly removed without comment.

Gary and his wife Dawn were left devastated in 2012 after their fourth child Poppy was delivered stillborn, with the singer recently revealing he wrote the song Let Me Go in her honour.

He revealed on When Corden Met Barlow: “It should be a celebration, that song, because in some respects, it's alive, that record and those lyrics, and what it relates to.

”There's a point where I'll stop in respect to my wife,” he added.

The apparent hack came after the prime minister addressed Gary Barlow's £30 million tax bill, saying that saying that while the scheme was "clearly wrong" it was "not necessary" for Barlow to return the honour.

UK Head of Financial Planning, Kevin White, added: “The furore surrounding Gary Barlow’s tax affairs is misplaced. It is ludicrous to suggest, as it has been, that he was ‘getting away with’ not paying his taxes. You cannot ‘get away with’ something that is legal. Mr Barlow and others were attempting to legally mitigate their tax burden.

“Perhaps there is a case to modify the rules, but lynch-mobbing in the media a few pop stars is not the appropriate, sensible way to go about it. We need a considered national debate.”
