A fox was spotted queueing for the cash machine outside Hackney Community College in Hoxton, East London

This little fox was clearly in need of some cash (presumably he had a lunch to go to or something), so was forced to join the queue outside an East London cashpoint - in broad daylight.

Perhaps what was most startling about the image is the fox's nonchalance, not to mention the fact that people ahead of him seem completely unaware of his foxy presence.

However one woman, towards the back of the queue, seems to be keeping a carely eye on the critter as she clutches her young child towards her.

The image has been shared on Twitter by countless people, all of whom are convinced that the bold fox of Hoxton is the ultimate display of Britishness.

One user said: "How very British. A fox queuing to use a cash machine."

However, after scouring the internet, it seems as if the image MAY be a fake.
