The former TOWIE star was left reeling when a clip emerged of her engaging in an intimate act with ex lover Jake McLean, after the footage was circulated via text message, WhatsApp and email without her permission.

Taking to her Twitter account today, Lauren set the record straight, tweeting: 'I made sex tape it's an intimate 6 sec clip of me and my ex boyfriend of 2 yrs.'
'That he or I didn't release someone did from his phone with my phone number so I haven't been crying wolf I voiced it to defend myself,' the star continued.
'You need get over it as i was voicing it myself, as they had a lot calls about it so if anyone was going to speak about it. It was going be me!'
Lauren continued with the warning that anyone reposting the video would be reported to the police, adding: 'It's a criminal offence to tout indecent images of people to papers, mags, websites, social media etc without their permission.'
