TOWIE's Arg and ex-girlfriend Lydia Bright got back together in the finale of The Only Way Is Essex last night - and it was all thanks to a pair of very special shoes.
Wearing a bow tie, Arg took Lydia to the Grease-themed funfair, where he amped up the romance levels in a serious bid to woo his 'Lyds'.

Thrusting a pair of blue Manolos at her, he said: "I know you like to think you're the Carrie Bradshaw of Essex so here you are."
Then he teasingly added: "I'm not going to propose...but," as he blindfolded her and led her off.
While many fans of the show DID think he was going to ask Lydia to marry him, despite his protestations, Arg had actually planned for a choir to sing Westlife's Flying Without Wings, in a bid to remind Lydia of the first time they said 'I love you'.

He added passionately: "I'll always wait for you because I love you so much and I think I always will," he said as Lydia welled-up. "Can I kiss you?"
Cue a passionate smooch - although Lydia did add: "But we're still taking things slow, yeah?"
