The Saturdays' singer, 25, revealed that she 'can't wait to get started', telling a British magazine: "I'm a huge fan of Strictly! I've always wanted to be part of the show.
"It looks so much fun and the costumes are just gorgeous. This is going to be so different from anything I've done with The Saturdays."

A source told The Sun: "Frankie was the BBC's main target for Strictly this year – they desperately want her sexy girl band glamour and love the fact that she is a WAG.
"She almost competed last year but had to pull out when she found out she was pregnant."
Frankie – who recently married footballer Wayne Bridge – is mum to one-year-old son Parker.
She wouldn't be the first of the Saturdays' girls to take part in a reality show: Vanessa White once competed in Popstar to Opera star and last year Una Foden took part in Tom Daley's Splash!

The girls are said to be planning a 'hiatus' following the release of their greatest hits album this week.
After forming in 2008, the girls think now is the best time to take a break and this works perfectly for Frankie's appearance on Strictly.
The source continued: "The Saturdays thought it was the perfect time to coincide with an extended holiday.
"They've been working pretty much non-stop for six years and want some time off to focus on all their various solo interests."
But fans of the band shouldn't worry: the girls have already been back in the studio recording their next album and Una recently said that the greatest hits was simply a 'celebration of their work'.

The source added: "They'll end up being in more demand because of the exposure Frankie will get on Strictly.
"The girls want to be like the female Take That – go off and spend some time working on their own but coming back together for big releases and performances."
