Dee is currently taking part in Celebrity Big Brother, where she has been a massive hit with viewers. She rose to fame on the controversial Channel 4 documentary Benefits Street and now her neighbours have accused her of 'betraying' her roots.

The residents of James Turner Street in Birmingham feel Dee has turned her back on them. Black Dee, real name Samora Roberts, said: "She's a sell-out. I don't know her no more (sic).

Insisting she's not jealous, 32-year-old Samora added: "I wouldn't want nothing from some people who stabbed us in our heart.

"I hope she does the best for herself and her children. I'm still living the same normal life, with the same normal people, on the normal road."

Dee was given the task of becoming Deirdre Duchess of Solihull

Dee, 43, is currently sharing a house with celebrities including Lauren Goodger, David McIntosh, Edele Lynch and Ricci Guarnaccio.

Her first task for the show was to change her image and convince the three American celebrities that she is Deirdre Duchess of Solihull, 21st in line to the throne.

Another James Turner Street resident said of this: "I think it is ridiculous, to be honest."
