Dad-of-four David, 39, admitted that having more than one child is a challenge, and Wills and Kate will need to make sure they get enough sleep.

Speaking to a UK newspaper at an event for his collaboration with fashion Belstaff, he said: "They definitely need to get a little more sleep because jumping from one to two is a process, but I am so happy for them you know.

"They're great parents and they prove it day in and day out with the lives that they live and obviously the commitments they have you know that it is obviously difficult. But their main focus will always be their children."

Kate and Wills might be preparing to be parents to two children, but David has had a lot of practice with his brood.

He said that getting everyone ready and out of the door can be challenging, adding: "With me and the boys, five minutes. With Harper it's a lot more of a process and obviously with Victoria."

David admitted that he's enjoying following in Victoria's footsteps with his ventures into the world of fashion, following his retirement from professional football.

He said: "Obviously it's something that's totally different to what I have done over the years.

"I've had my moments of missing playing, but you know I think that watching my kids play, watching them train, you know has taken over that kind of void of what I used to do."
