The 34-year-old star was six months pregnant when she woke in the night to discover something was seriously wrong.

Brook was visiting her fiancé Thom's brother in Scotland, when she awoke in a pool of blood, and panicked that something had happened to her unborn child.

But after visiting two hospitals in the area, she returned to London and went to bed to rest.

Just hours later, the star woke up to find her waters had broken, forcing her to call an ambulance.

On May 6 2011, Kelly gave birth to a baby girl, who had sadly already died by the time she came into the world.

Kelly has insisted that the incident was a miscarriage, rather than a stillbirth, even though two weeks later and she would have had to register the baby's birth and death.

'In my mind, it was a miscarriage. That was how I was going to deal with it' said the star.

'The hospital were insisting otherwise. They kept on asking me for a name. Thom and I had yet to ever discuss this. I must give them a name they said. Thankfully, my mum was there to give me support. We both said 'No Name.'

Hospital staff also tried to encourage Kelly to have footprints and handprints made of her child, something which she also denied 'for her own sanity.'

'I was trying to detach myself' said Kelly, who is now engaged to Celebrity Big Brother star David McIntosh, 27.

Sadly, just months later, Thom and Kelly suffered another miscarriage - the trauma of which eventually forced their relationship to end.
