An insider told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “The break-up has been very civil as they both just realised they couldn't make things work.
"They sat down a couple of weeks ago and both agreed things weren't working. There was no big dramatic reason for the split, as it was more that they are both in different places in their lives.

"They will definitely stay friends and still see a lot of each other as they have many mutual pals."
The couple were rumoured to have split during a recent holiday in Marbella, but put on a united front during a promotional engagement just a couple of weeks later.

Sam, 23, and Joey, 24, got back together in March following a year apart.
They split in 2013 during a heated argument, which was broadcast on The Only Way Is Essex’s Marbella special.
Joey then dated beauty queen Amy Willerton after meeting her in the ‘I’m A Celebrity’ jungle, whereas Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke attempted to woo Essex babe Sam whilst they appeared in Celebrity Big Brother.
Sam then became seriously ill whilst suffering from severe symptoms of Crohn’s disease.
The illness appeared to bring the former lovers back together, but it seems that the pair were unable to ultimately stay together for good.
