The page read: “Help Myleene Klass pay her Mansion Tax.
“Myleene is a struggling mother with a fortune of £11m who needs our help. Please be generous.”
One angry fan commented: “Myleene Klaas don't like the idea of having to pay #mansiontax. Is she even aware of the effects of #BedroomTax?.”
Myleene appeared on television with the Labour leader where she attempted to confront him over plans to tax homes worth over £2 million.
The former pop star said: "For me, it's so disturbing - the name in its own right: 'mansion tax'. Immediately you conjure up an image of these Barbie-esque houses, but in London, which is where 80 per cent of the people who will be paying this tax actually live, have you seen what that amount of money can get you? It's like a garage."
In reality, the average value of a home in London is roughly £500, 000.
JustGiving responded to the fake page, writing: "Sorry Myleene! You can only fundraise for registered causes on JG. We work with some ace housing charities though..."
Myleene has yet to comment on the JustGiving page, and as of yet the page has failed to raise £2 million to pay for the musician’s new garage.
