This adorable sea otter was orphaned, and when she was found on a Southern California beach she weighed less than two pounds.

It looked like it might be the end for the poor thing, but Monterey Bay Aquarium took her in, before professionals in Illinois took over nursing her back to health.

This amazing video has captured the moment the otter met her new family:

We see her being taught how to swim and, despite her struggles, she looks like she’s really taking to the water.

After her little swim, she gets dried off and instantly turns into a cute ball of fluff. But it’s not long before she’s back in the water.
