The idea of using horse shampoo on yourself seems a little comical at first, but your bathroom embarrassment will soon subside when you see how amazing this product is.

With celebrities from Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston and Kim Kardashian all giving their seal of approval to the range, we decided it was time to give it a go.

Having extremely damaged, delicate hair, I’ve been on the lookout for a shampoo & conditioner range that can actually make a difference - and I think this might just be it.

After the very first wash, my hair was noticeably shinier - something which blonde hair often struggles to achieve - and much more manageable. I didn’t have to use my usual plethora of leave-in products to smooth it out, and it blow dried in record time.

My only criticism is that, while the smell of the shampoo during use is pleasant, it doesn’t leave hair particularly fragranced. Although, if it comes between soft results and the smell, I’d choose soft every time.
