While many I'm A Celeb 2014 viewers have accused 32-year-old Kendra Wilkinson of 'faking' her fears during her Bush Tucker Trials, show sources have now stepped forward to reveal that the American reality TV star is genuinely fearful for her life.

“Kendra knows the stress of the trials are putting her at serious risk of health problems"

Around 18 months ago, the mum-of-two suffered a stroke after she was involved in a 'horror road smash' in California.

Scans showed she had suffered the attack without realising it and was lucky to be alive.

At the time, Kendra said: “It reminded me how fragile life really is and how important love really is. It was a spiritual moment.

“I definitely look at life differently now. I am just so thankful every day I wake up.”

Now I'm A Celeb sources have said Kendra is 'terrified' that her next Bush Tucker Trial (she has already done five) could trigger another potentially deadly stroke.

They said: “Kendra knows the risk she is taking by doing the show. She is worried the worst could happen though.

“She has been struggling a lot more than viewers realise. The on-site medic has had to step in a number of times because she was all over the place.

Last week, the former Playboy bunny admitted she felt forced to attempt the trials and said: “I feel under pressure to perform.”

And now, according to the same show source, concerned bosses have taken steps to protect Kendra from doing another trial by blocking the public from voting.

Instead campmates will be forced to choose for themselves who will do it.

They explained: “The others have all felt sorry for Kendra because she’s had to do so many.

“They also desperately want to win food and know she’s unlikely to do well. Producers know by giving the celebs the power to choose it’s unlikely she’ll have to do the next one and is less likely to walk.”
