Danny Dyer, who shares a home with his girlfriend Jo Mass and their three children, is reportedly said to be staying at The Manor Hotel in Borehamwood - despite the fact the accommodation is only a short distance from his house.
"It's a mystery why he'd spend the first two weeks of 2015 in a hotel," a source (rumoured to be a hotel employee) said to The Sun.
They continued: "It is a bit strange that he would chose a hotel over his own house with the misses and kids.
"It's more like an EastEnders storyline than real life."
However the talented actor, who stars as family man Mick Carter in EastEnders, has slammed the rumours on Twitter.
He fumed: "More piles a b**locks from the Scum on Sunday.....shame coz @danidyerx is in the mag.
"Enjoy ya roasts.....unless you're 2 Bob 'journalist' [sic]."
Jo also rubbished the split rumours, insisting: "He has been at the Manor House, but that’s more for EastEnders.
"Danny’s due home today. Print the pictures, I don’t give a s***."
It makes sense that Danny needs to be closer to the EastEnders set at the moment; the star, like the rest of the cast, is working extra long hours in preparation for next month's live episode.
We're glad to hear that the couple - who have been together since they were teenagers - are still going strong.
