The former EastEnders star, 59, underwent the procedure by Silhouette Soft, which uses dissolvable thread to get rid of wrinkles.
Costing £1,500, it promises to give you younger and smoother looking skin, without having to go under the knife, in just half an hour.
Dr Aamer Khan, who treated Gillian, said that, because it's non-surgical, the procedure has left Gillian's face completely able to move, which is important to her as an actress.
He said: "I recommend it to redefine the faces of patients looking for ways to combat sagging jowls and loss of volume in the cheek areas – but who don't want surgery."
"It produces an extremely natural-looking result which leaves the face completely mobile – very important in Gillian's case as she's an actress.
"She is also a very animated woman who laughs and smiles all the time, so it was imperative that she could continue to emote."
The procedure is tailor-made for each face, targeting specific areas to lift. The thread goes deep into the layers of the skin and stimulates the face to produce its own collagen.
