Police were called to Pemberton Township, New Jersey at around 11pm on Friday - and made the horrifying discovery.

They quickly put out the fire, but tragically the young baby had experienced severe burns and died from its injuries two hours later.

A woman named Hypernkemberly Dorvilier, 22, has been arrested and charged with the child’s murder.

Police believe that the baby was covered in an accelerant before being set on fire in the street.

A shocked neighbour who witnessed the incident, says he saw a woman get out of her car before lighting something on fire in the middle of the street. He was horrified by what he saw.

‘We didn’t think it was a baby at first, we just thought someone was burning trash,’ he said.
