Lewis Hamilton left everybody cringing when he presented an award with Ellie Goulding

Enthusiastic Lewis was introducing Taylor Swift as the Best International Female Solo Artist when he commanded the crowd to cheer louder.

Unfortunately for Lewis, they didn’t. Instead the venue went silent. Awkward.

Little Mix arrived on the red carpet looking like superstars!

Jesy Nelson, 23, Jade Thirlwall, 22, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 23, and 21-year-old Perrie Edwards stunned in their amazing outfits, sending Twitter into meltdown (for good reasons, obviously).

Well done, girls!

Kim Kardashian loves a selfie, doesn’t she?

So of course she couldn’t resist taking one with Ant & Dec when presenting Sam Smith with an award.

However it appeared so staged that it left many cringing at their TVs.

When Kim’s hubby Kanye West took to the stage, the proud wife got her groove on in the audience

Taylor Swift tried to join in, but her crazy, out of time moves left people questioning what song she was listening to…

Rita Ora looked incredible

That is all.

Paloma Faith got emosh during her acceptance speech, which was lovely

But it seemed to go on for hours as she told her entire life story and it soon got really, really boring.

Madonna got pulled backwards down a flight of stairs

The most horrifying and unbelievable moment of the whole night left viewers wondering if Madge would be getting back up after that momentous trip.

But, ever the professional, she got back up and continued. We bet more than a couple of those backing dancers lost their jobs, though.

Sam Smith did an Adele and gave a flawless performance

Undoubtedly the biggest thing to come out of the UK in the last year blew everybody away with a rendition of his latest single Lay Me Down, and unsurprisingly picked up the award for Global Success Act.

We love you, Sam.

Ed Sheeran performed Bloodsteam

And everybody loved it, obviously.
