TV personality Kelly Osbourne has reportedly quit popular red carpet commentary show Fashion Police after co-host Guiliana Rancic was accused of making racist comments.

A spokesman for the show’s network released a statement reading: “Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s Fashion Police to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit with viewers. Fashion Police will return, as scheduled, on Friday, March 30th at 9:00 p.m. and no decisions have been made on her replacement.”

The British-born star is reportedly ‘furious’ over the comments, which saw Guiliana, 39, criticise actress Zendaya Coleman’s dreadlocked hair.

In the Academy Awards special, Guiliana poked fun at Zendaya’s hair, saying: "Like I feel like she, she smells like patchouli oil. Or weed. Yeah, maybe weed."

E! anchor Guiliana apologised for the comments, but Kelly, 30, later tweeted that she was ‘questioning’ staying on the show.

According to TMZ, producers of the show were ‘up to here’ with Kelly after she was reportedly unhappy throughout the taping of the new series’ first episode.

The show recently returned for a new series just months following the death of Fashion Police host Joan Rivers.
