The 42-year-old Ultimo tycoon’s marriage to Michael Mone broke down after he became abusive, she alleges.
She wrote in her soon-to-be-released memoir My Fight to the Top: “I burst out crying and he gagged me with his hand. I swear I thought he was suffocating me.
"I lashed out with my nails to get him off me and he bit my right ear.
"I clasped my hand over it to stop the pain and, when I pulled it away, it was covered in blood."
Michelle added that the abuse left her feeling suicidal.
“At one point, the fighting between Michael and I drove me to contemplate suicide — a low point I could never have imagined in the very early days of our relationship.
"Our fighting at work spilling over into our home life. One evening, Michael picked up a plate of spaghetti bolognese and hurled it across the room. Smash.
"Pasta and sauce oozed down the wall — and I was left to clean it up."
She added: "One fight was so awful, I drove to an Asda car park after our three kids had fallen asleep and slept there in the back of my BMW. I felt so low and scared about the future."
