Stephen Merchant, who made his name with such shows as The Office, Extras and An Idiot Abroad, was travelling with girlfriend Hayley Atwell down Melrose Avenue when the collision occurred.
The 32-year-old Captain America actress was thought to have been driving at the time of the incident.
Thankfully nobody was seriously injured in the crash.
Apparently good-natured Stephen, after escaping the wreckage, gave his partner a big hug, before moving to assess the damage.
And, according to The Sun newspaper, the 40-year-old also bought coffee and cakes for those involved in the crash as they waited for police to arrive.
Stephen's Audi was towed away following the incident and, so far, neither his or Hayley's reps have commented on the collision.
Stephen and Hayley have been linked since 2013 and seem to be very much in love.
However, when speaking with the press about his romantic exploits, the Hello Ladies star often plays down his charms.
In an interview with The Telegraph, he explained that he still struggles when it comes to meeting women, saying: "My honest answer is that now I just get rejected by a better class of woman than I did when I was 18."
