Could you be a millionaire and just not know it yet?

“We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life"

There are three people out there who have done just that, as their lucky lotto tickets have netted them over £7 million in total.

And not ONE of them has stepped forward to claim their prize; weird, huh?

The biggest mystery ticket winner bought their ticket in Scotland’s Stirling area - and bagged a massive £3,062,272 just one week before Christmas.

Then there’s the jackpot winner who netted £2,598,424 on the Lotto in early February and who comes from the South Northamptonshire and Daventry area.

And let’s not forget the lucky Lotto winner from Barnet in London, who won 1,804,955 from a draw in late January.

Or the lucky winner who bagged a winning ticker on Valentine’s Day down in Devon’s Teignbridge area, who scored a cool £1 million with the raffle code PINK 6055 9722.

Or, you know, the four other £1 million Lotto and EuroMillions winners who have also failed to collect their bumper payouts from November to February.

All the ticket holders have six months to claim their prizes - or the money goes to good causes.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “We’re eager to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings – this amazing prize could really make a huge difference to somebody’s life.

“We’re urging everyone who bought a Lotto ticket in this area to check their old tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”

Get thee to your recycling bins, people - it’s time to have a dig through all those old tickets!
