Love EastEnders as much as we do? Then you’ll be excited to hear that Adam Woodyatt is breaking free of Walford to try his hand at theatre.

Yup, Adam - better known as Ian Beale to fans - has signed up for a production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

While you might have assumed he’ll be playing Prince Charming (or Grumpy the Dwarf, depending on which camp you fall into!), it turn out Adam will be making a new role all of his own.

This is going to be the best, isn't it?

Anyway, Adam will be getting his evil on at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon for their Christmas pantomime, which will run between December 5 and January 3.

Speaking about the role, Adam told the Swindon Advertiser: "I absolutely love performing in front of an audience as it's so different to camera - I love the reaction of the audience.

"I am very much looking forward to spending the Christmas season at the Wyvern Theatre, which I know has a reputation for staging outstanding pantomimes."

We imagine, based on his amazing performance in the EastEnders Live episodes, that Adam is going to be seriously fun to watch.

Roll on Christmas already!
