In the most devastating TOWIE news for ages, Elliott, 34, has confirmed he’s leaving to start a business in Marbella.
But, while we’re upset, his on/off girlfriend Chloe Sims, 31, was definitely knocked by his shock announcement.
Speaking to Chloe during last night’s episode, Elliott said: “An opportunity to open a restaurant in Marbella has come up and I’m going to take it.
“It means me leaving Essex. I don’t know if we can work it out. If I do go, I’m going to miss you.”
An obviously emotional Chloe replied: “You’ve just dropped a bomb that you might be leaving Essex.”
It seems Chloe could still stop her man from leaving, though. Elliott told her: “I don’t want to go over there thinking about if you and me could have worked it out.”
But Essex insiders have claimed that Elliott is upset the show hasn’t led him on to bigger things like his 28-year-old cousin Mark.
A source told The Sun: “It’s a shame, as he really wanted to use the show as a launchpad to bigger things. Mark was his inspiration but sadly he’s not been quite as successful.”
Elliott, who was previously married and has two children who live in Alicante, is believed to be taking over a £2 million restaurant in Marbs, meaning there’ll no doubt be plenty of opportunities for him to bump into his TOWIE co-stars.
