The couple met on the set of Saturday Showdown, but Holly, 34, didn’t feel an instant attraction.
She told Woman & Home: “At first, I didn’t fancy Dan at all – I didn’t even think about it.”
Dan and Holly instead became fast friends.
“I don’t think he could have fancied me either because it was such a genuine friendship.”
It wasn’t long before the couple felt the chemistry that would inevitably spark their famous romance. Dan and Holly married in the summer of 2007.
“I knew he was “The One” pretty quickly but we kept it a secret for eight months because I didn’t want to give anyone a reason to be annoyed with us.”
Holly recently gave birth to her third child, a son named Chester, and now feels as though her family is complete.
“One child is great, and so was two - but it felt like we were waiting for Chester to come along. He’s just made everything sit really well.
“And I am now outnumbered! I feel it, too. But we’ve all just had to adapt.”
Holly’s best friend Fearne Cotton has recently announced that she is expecting her second baby. Between the two blond presenters their hands will indeed be full!
