A man has been jailed for attacking Josie Gibson’s deaf brother.
Charlie Radnedge, 24, was filmed punching the reality star’s sibling in an unprovoked attack in January 2014.
Josie’s brother Harry Mook-Gibson was at the Dojo Lounge nightclub in Bristol when the attack took place.
Radnege was sentenced to three months in prison for ABH on top of a nine month sentence for breaching a previous suspended sentence.
Officer PC Brett Stinchcombe told the Mirror: “Radnedge carried out an unprovoked and vicious assault on the victim in a city centre nightclub.
“In police interview, he tried to claim he was acting in self-defence but the CCTV footage showed a very different story.
“We identified Radnedge after releasing CCTV images as part of a public appeal for help and I’m grateful to everyone who responded to this appeal.
“The victim suffered some serious injuries to his face and the assault marred what should have been an enjoyable night celebrating his sister’s birthday.
“We take all forms of violence seriously and will do everything we can to bring those who engage in violent acts to justice.”
Following the unprovoked attack, Josie tweeted: Thank you to everyone who retweeted a raised awareness of the attack. Your bloody amazing. I owe you a lot of drinks lol!![sic]"
