According to reports, Aussie actor Blair McDonough- who played mechanic Stu Parker in hit soap Neighbours- has become a dad for the first time.

She wrote: “Happy and grateful to have had such a wonderful weekend with my love before our (late) little treasure decides to join the party! #itsbabytime #soexcited #anydaynow.”

Blair announced Kristi’s pregnancy last year, just 12 months after the couple lost a baby through a tragic miscarriage.

The 33-year-old soap star said at the time: "That pain was a big test of our strength and resilience, but it brought us even closer together."

Before marrying Kristi, Blair dated singer and actress Delta Goodrem during his time on Neighbours.

Blair has previously said that he would not rule out a return to the show, which celebrated its 30th anniversary this month.
