Queen Bey, 33, is allegedly furious after discovering hubby Jay-Z, 44, has a mobile phone especially for his musical protégée, 27-year-old Rihanna.
According to Jayoncé insiders, Bey is well aware Jay-Z has a number of phones for business but the direct line between him and Barbadian beauty Rihanna was brand new information to her.
A source told Grazia: “Jay has several phones, one of which he keeps reserved for Rihanna, supposedly to discuss business interests.
“It’s obvious when she calls because he’ll interrupt meetings, even walk away from the dinner table to speak to her.”
Since their musical relationship began 10 years ago, both Jay and Rihanna have consistently denied they are anything more than close friends.
But according to the insider, these calls have struck a chord with Beyoncé, causing her and Jay to argue.
Earlier this year Bey and Jay were snapped in public having what looked like a furious bust-up.
It was claimed that the normally calm and collected Beyoncé lost it over the amount of time her rapper husband spends on his phone.
A source at the time said: “Beyoncé seems convinced that Jay-Z is hiding things, and that there’s a huge amount going on that she isn’t privy to.”
