The mum-of-one has finally returned home from hospital for a second time, following complications during a routine surgery on her throat.
She tweeted: “Thank you for all your tweets and msgs, I'm back at home now taking it easy and being strict with my medication! [sic]”
However it seems as if baby Belle isn’t planning on letting Katie take it easy; she’s just too excited to have her mummy back!
After snapping a photo of the little tyke, bouncing away on mum and dad’s bed, Katie took to Instagram.
She wrote: “Happy Easter everyone from Belle in her spring chick Pyjamas.
“Now who is going to tell her that's not her cot and it's bed time.......... [sic]”
We doubt Katie minds too much, to be honest; after all, she was left heartbroken when she was forced to celebrate her daughter’s first birthday from her hospital bed.
She told The Mirror at the time: "I went in for a routine operation to remove scar tissue from my attack but there were complications. I was discharged but started to deteriorate.
"It’s been very painful and I’ve lost a stone in 15 days so I had to come in and be monitored."
Katie added that she’d lost so much weight she “looks like a skeleton”, but is now happy to be recovering at home.
We’re so glad to see that Katie and Belle have been reunited - love is the best medicine, after all!
