He may be known to millions as ‘Mr Nasty’, but X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell proved that he is very much ‘Mr Nice’ these days in his latest Twitter pic.

The music mogul posted a snap along with 1-year-old son Eric where the father/son duo are seen catching a viewing of The Lion King on Simon’s iPad.

The 55-year-old explained their choice of movie, writing alongside the adorable pic: “After watching the Jungle Book 1000 times we have moved onto the Lion King.”

Simon has been open about his desire to give son Eric a younger brother or sister in the future.

And after being inspired by best friend Sinitta, Simon and partner Lauren Silverman haven’t ruled out adoption either.

He told The Mirror: "Myself and Lauren want to have more children of our own but we could adopt as well. I wouldn't rule out it happening. It's a good idea.

"I'm beginning to warm to the idea of adopting."

He is also adamant that baby Eric won’t grow to become spoiled, despite his obvious privilege.

Simon explained to the Daily Star earlier this year: "I'll teach him the value of money. That's what my mum and dad did with me. When they paid for holidays we had to earn our own spending money.

"When I was about eight I used to clean cars and mow lawns. And I used to love it.”

He added: I do think it is important that you earn your own money. I had that instilled in me and Eric will have the same."
