It was her fake tan, tacky outfits and dubious hair extensions, which got Chloe Mafia noticed for all the wrong reasons on the X Factor in 2010.

The 19-year-old became a national joke after performing a dodgy rendition of Shakira’s ‘Underneath Your Clothes’, but made it through to boot camp before sensationally being kicked off the show over her reported cocaine use.

But five years on, mum-of-one Chloe has left her X Factor disaster behind and built a glamorous new lifestyle, raking in £1million through her own webcam business.

She charges men £5 a minute to watch her strip and talk dirty and has employed a team of girls to work for her and boost her earnings.

The 24-year-old now divides her time between her home just outside of Leeds and a six-bed mansion with a hot tub in California, where she lives with her Spearmint Rhino-owner boyfriend John Gray, 58.

Chloe says: “The life I’ve made for myself is the complete opposite of my upbringing. I grew up on a council estate with just my mum, she worked so hard to support us.

"We moved around a lot, and could barely afford to pay the bills. One Christmas we had beans on toast for dinner.

"Now my life is all about mingling with celebs, designer shopping and driving my Range Rover.

“I went on X Factor because I wanted to make something of myself. I don’t have the best voice but I saw it as an opportunity to earn money for my eight-year-old daughter.

“When I was kicked off the show I was upset by the negative media coverage and got trolled online, but it just made me more determined to make a success of my life.

"I got involved in webcam work after seeing other girls doing it online who were earning a fortune.

"I got lots of work and then realised I could employ other girls to work for me and built up a successful business from there. I now have 50 employees and have made more than £1million.

"I’m so proud of how I’ve turned my life around, and proven everyone wrong.”
