Earlier this month, Kym Marsh shockingly revealed that she and fiancé Dan Hooper were ‘taking a break’ from their relationship - and that they had, for the time being, called off their engagement.
And now, speaking with OK! Magazine, she explained that she is “having a break from Twitter” as she and Dan attempt to work on their rocky relationship.
She said firmly: “Dan and I are just trying to keep everything between us and that is how it should be.”
However, despite this, things do not seem to be going well for the struggling pair.
Speaking from the heart, Kym admitted that the pair are finding things tough - and that their relationship will not be back on track anytime soon.
The soapstar confessed: “Nothing has really changed much with the situation between Dan and me.
“Dan and I are still talking, but nothing has been resolved.”
She added: “It is going to take time, whatever happens.”
Earlier this year, the 38-year-old admitted she was hoping to have a child with fiancé Dan Hooper. whom has a four-year-old daughter, Lexi, with his ex Stephanie Waring.
She told the Sunday Mirror: “I’m so lucky. I’ve got three beautiful children.
"Dan has also got a little girl. She is beautiful and very much a part of our family.
"[But] Dan and I would like to have a child together."
Kym continued: "Sadly, I can't have any more children, but we could adopt. It's wonderful to give a child a home, and it would be a very loving home."
