So it would be only natural if Lauren Goodger was reflecting over her relationship with Mark Wright.
Lauren and Mark, both 28, were together on and off for 10 years before his highly publicised relationship with 27-year-old Michelle Keegan.
She took to Instagram last night to post a cryptic message, which fans took to be aimed at presenter Mark.
It read: "She's the kind of girl a guy meets when he's too young, and he f**ks up because there's too much living to do. But later he realises she's perfect."
Many of Lauren's followers sympathised, with one writing: "I feel sorry for her! Must be heartbroken."
Another added: "You must be feeling awful, chin up @laurenrosegoodger xx [sic]"
But some weren't as nice. One blasted: "Give it up and MOVE ON!!!! Jeez woman have some bl**dy dignity!! Stop trying to sabotage their relationship… you just sound bitter and twisted."
