Before you immediately jump to missionary, you might be interested to know that the favourite position of the British is in fact ‘doggy style.’
A survey by Ann Summers revealed that 1 in 4 people in the country favour the position, whilst 23% like the woman to be on top.
Missionary actually crawls in at third, with 21% of people liking the standard style in the bedroom.
And far from it being a case of ‘no sex please, we’re British,’ the high street lingerie chain also revealed that 66% of us use two to three positions per session.
A spokesperson for the chain said it was ‘fantastic to see adults across the UK becoming more adventurous and having fun with their sex lives.’
Other outcomes of the survey were that most people still prefer to have sex in the bedroom, though many of us will get jiggy with it in front of the TV, in the shower bath, or even in the kitchen.
